My Story
Most know me as Stephen the Artist. All my life I have doodled, sketched and painted. I have worked detailing pixels in Marvel comics and sweeping murals high and wide across Ireland. It wasnt until recently that I took up writing in earnest.

Like every craft that allows self-expression I have always felt myself very comfortable in the realm of words. There are many aspects of life that can make you feel tied down, but through the arts I have always found a way to escape...especially since I sold my motorbike for a roomy Ford with ample space for shopping and family sundries

My debut novel was inspired by a decrepit ol’ mansion called Loftus Hall. Reputedly ‘Ireland’s Most Haunted House'. ( – I didn’t even know there was a supernatural ranking system!) This once magnificent structure sits bizarrely on the most desolate of outcrops and cried like a banshee to have her story re-imagined, embellished, glorified and regaled in a manner befitting her former glory.

I had fun writing it, but not as much as you will have reading it...
